Miss Vivi has a charity kit out

In collaboration with Maryse Vincent, Miss Vivi has released Couleur d'Espoir at digiscrapbook.net. Proceeds from the kit will benefit cancer research. Watch Miss Vivi's blog for layouts, and possibly a freebie or two! Below are two layouts I did with the kit - each with a very different feel!

In the "feminine" layout, I also used a recolored date stamp from Miss Vivi's "Oblitérateurs" (which include English, French, and German versions!). In the "masculine" layout, I recolored one of the rickracks and the swirl from the kit!

More catching up

Two more layouts that I never posted to the blog. The first is of our church's Christmas pagent - my DD (age 3) was an angel, and my DS (age 5) was a shepard. The sanctuary was very dark, so the pictures weren't the best, but I played around with them, and used a "Lomo effect" action to end up with a vintage-y feel!

The second one is the first with 2008 pictures! We've had a few snows here, so I got to use my new 50 mm lens a bit with the kids outdoors. DD is not a fan of cold, as you can see in her face!!

Catching up.

Haven't been keeping up lately- both my daughter and I were sick, so I spent the last week (or more) snuggled down and recuperating! Here's a few layouts that I've put in galleries and neglected to post here. Both are of my sibling's families, taken at our cousin's wedding last July.

Our church has an amazing ministry completely run by volunteers - GALLONS of soup are made every Monday, and delivered on Tuesday to an inner-city church. I was asked to help take pictures and put together some promotional materials for presentations and fund raising. here are three storyboards I put together so far.
